Classic car enthusiasts can explore a wealth of traders, jumblers and service providers showcasing their wares. It’s the perfect place to meet like-minded hobbyists and pick up advice, hints, and tips from the people who know the ins and outs of these stunning marques.

MG Cricket St Thomas 2025
Email below from Sue Fenton on behalf of MGOC Southern Regional Secretaries:
Hello Everyone!
Many of you will know my name - just as many will likely say..... "who?" Well, for those that don't know, I was one of the committee organisers of the infamous "MG Cricket St Thomas" weekends held bi-annually for several years, the last one was in 2015. Following a number of requests, we've put our heads together, and decided to do one last MG-CST, in 2025. And I know there are quite a few "Hoorays" out there!
So, I'd like to take this opportunity, on behalf of Tim Hipwell and Nigel Knowles - two Regional MGOC Club Secretaries - (and me) to invite you to join us at Warner Cricket St Thomas Hotel on the weekend of 23-26th May 2025. Please see the attached flyer, which we'd love you to cascade down to your respective members locally. Full details and booking instructions can be provided to you now if you want them, so please let me know. Obviously, that information will also go out to all enquiries as they come in.
As with previous years', this event isn't confined to just MG Owners, but all car enthusiasts, whether they own a classic car (or not). We all know that our beloved MGs don't always make it on the day....... Why not bring family and friends too if you have a special occasion to celebrate. The more the merrier!
In what will be the 80th commemorative year since the end of WWII, our aim is to raise much needed funds for a small charity, Helping Homeless Veterans UK, so what better reason than this to come along and help with the fundraising efforts. Our theme in 2025, for those that know this event from the past, will be "Dad's Army" - or should I say, "Home Guard Helping The Homeless". More on that to follow.
Well, that's it. Thanks for promoting what we're sure will be a fun weekend.
Regards
Sue Fenton

BRING YOUR MG! - PICNIC AT BARN FARM
In place of our usual "Bring Your MG to Club Night", we are having a picnic at Roger Triggols farm which is on the main road through Tickenham. We have had several runs finishing there in the past and have been made very welcome.
Some members may not be familiar with this very interesting venue which is not just a farm but has car-shaped treasures hidden behind its barn doors, many of which have starred in films and TV series as well as being used as wedding cars
No decision yet as to whether this will include a run or not - it's all at the planning stage - but we thought we should reserve the date. More information will follow.
